The purpose of the Ministries internship program is to provide individuals with the opportunity to contribute by serving Christ alongside of a network of volunteers to help sex trafficking victims in the Houston area. Interns are involved in many aspects of the fight  to stop human trafficking, including research, working with human trafficking survivors, organizational development, communications and public relations, and the implementation of special projects and programs. Many of their activities provide support to Redeemed Ministries leadership, and other volunteer to overseas projects. Interns participate in interesting projects and have opportunities to develop their own projects.

Each of the intern positions described below requires that the individual be detail-oriented, organized, productive, motivated, committed to following Christ, and experience working with human trafficking organizations. Interns will fill vital roles within the organization, making the experience one of significant educational and professional value.

Redeemed Ministries offers internship positions for either 3, 6 or 12 months. The internship is volunteer based. There is no program cost associated with the internship. However, interns are expected to fund their relocation costs and living expenses for the duration of their internship and have transportation. Fundraising is a viable option to cover some of the expenses involved. Housing is provided.

Types of Internships:

Sparrow House: Living in the House with rescued women. This position requires previous volunteer/work experience with human trafficking victims.

Outreach: Sparrows Nest (our outreach to women in spas/brothels), Presentations, Investigating Spas, Drop in center.
